Extra fees in Estonia

Cross Border Fee – The Renter is obliged to pay a Border Crossing Fee of 122.03 EEK  - 7.80 EUR per day for maximum 10 days will be an addition to rental price if taking the vehicle out of Estonia. The fee is included in Drop-off Charges in case of One-way rentals.

Personal Accident Insurance – 60.07 EEK – 3.84 EUR per day for all car groups.

Super Loss Damage Waiver – By accepting the SLDW customer decreases his/her responsibility to 0.- EEK. SLDW fee is in addition to Collision Damage Waiver and Theft Protection fees:

Economy and Compact vehicles - 234,67 EEK per day – 15.00 EUR

Intermediate and Standard vehicles - 323.28 EEK per day – 20.66 EUR;

Premium, Luxury, 4x4 and Minivans - 469,34 EEK per day – 30.00 EUR;

Customer is obliged to fill in Europcar Damage Report and follow General Terms and Conditions of Rental Agreement.

Russian & Belarusian insurance - Additional fee is 2400.00 - 153.35 EEK per rental. Europcar does not take any responsibilities regarding obtaining Russian or Belarusian visas.

Legalisation Fee – Legalization of vehicle documents is required when driving out of European Union territory. Legalization Fee is – 480.00 EEK – 30.67 EUR per rental.

Additional Driver Fee - Additional fee for each additional driver is 56.32 EEK – 3.60 EUR daily, with 10 days maximum for 563.20 EEK – 36.00 EUR.

Location Service Charge - calculated into the rental price:

Tallinn Airport  - 359.89 EEK – 23.00 EUR per rental;

Tallinn Downtown  - 239.93 EEK – 15.34 EUR per rental;

Kuressaare Airport - 239.93 EEK – 15.34 EUR per rental;

Tartu Airport -239.93 EEK – 15.34 EUR per rental;

Winterization Fee - A fee of 60.08 EEK – 3.84 EUR EEK per day will apply to all rentals from 20 October to 20 March to cover fitting Europcar vehicles with winter equipment.

Delivery & Collection - In Tallinn, Kuressaare and Tartu the fee for delivery or collection is 375.47 EEK – 24.00 EUR per service during office hours (9:00 – 18:00). Out of office hours the fee is  600.75 EEK – 38.40 EUR . The fee for delivery and collection outside of aforementioned towns is subject to agreement with Europcar.

After Office Hour Fee - A fee of 600.75 EEK - 38.40 EUR applies for services out of office hours (18:00 – 24:00 and 00:00 – 09:00).

Young Driver Surcharge - An additional fee 56.32 EEK – 3.60 EUR per day applies for all drivers under the age of 25.

Rental Period - Europcar charges (rental and any additional charges) are per 24-hour period from the time of rental. At the end of rental Europcar allows a further 29 minutes free of charge after the time of pick up. After the 29-minute grace period has expired you will be charged an additional full rental day.

Fuel Charge - All  vehicles are fully fuelled at the beginning of rental. If the vehicle is returned with a less than full tank of fuel, the Renter is obliged to compensate for the missing fuel at a rate of 37.55 EEK – 2.40 EUR per missing Liter (includes refueling service charge).  

Fuel Purchase Option - In order to save time by not refilling the fuel tank at the end of rental the Renter may purchase a full tank of fuel at the beginning of rental, leaving refueling duties to Europcar. Unused fuel will not be compensated for.

EXTRA EQUIPMENT

All Vehicles can be equipped with following extras:

Child seats.

Baby Seat              - 131.41 EEK – 8.40 EUR per day, maximum 657,07 EEK – 42.00 EUR per rental;

Penalty for losing or damaging Baby Seat is 3128.93 EEK – 200.00 EUR.

Booster                  - 93.87 EEK – 6.00 EUR per day, maximum 469.34 EEK – 30.00 EUR per rental;

Penalty for losing or damaging the Booster is 1877.36 EEK – 120.00 EUR.

Ski Equipment.

Ski Racks - 93.87 EEK – 6.00 EUR per day, maximum 469.34 EEK – 30.00 EUR per rental;

Penalty for losing or damaging the Ski Racks is 1877.36 EEK – 120.00 EUR.

Others.

Car Refrigerator - 93.87 EEK – 6.00 EUR daily, maximum (5 days rent) 469.34 EEK – 30.00 EUR per rental.

Penalty for losing or damaging the Car Refrigerator is 1877.36 EEK – 120.00 EUR

Chauffer Drive

Chauffeur drive fee is 1680.00 EEK – 107.35 EUR for 8h per day, which will be added to the basic rental amount. Chauffeur drive does not include drivers accomodation, parking, highway and ferry fees. Chauffer drive between 18:00-09:00 will be charged on hourly bases 240.- EEK  – 15.34 EUR per hour.

Non Waivable Excess

Customers having obtained Loss Damage Waiver and Theft Protection have following Non Waivable Excess:

Tyres are not insured. For the broken/lost tyre customer has to pay 1440.00 EEK – 92.01 EUR.

Penalty for the loss of keys and/or vehicle documents is 3600.00 EEK – 230.03 EUR.

Portable Navigational System

Europcar Estonia offers Tom-Tom GPS units for rent. GPS units include maps and voice guides are for all EU countries.

GPS rental price is  187.74 EEK – 12.00 EUR per day with maximum of 7 days 1314.18 EEK – 84.00 EUR per rental.

GPS is rented only with the vehicle.

Non Waivable excess in case of loss or damaging GPS: 6000.00 EEK – 383.39 EUR.

Non Waivable excess in case of loss or damaging mount kit or charger: 960.00 EEK – 61.34 EUR.

Traffic Penalties

Penalties submitted by customer will be added to the Rental agreement and/invoice - Europcars administration fee 30.00 EEK - 1.92 EUR will be added.

If the customer does not provide penalties during his rental and the rental agreement is terminated, then the client will be debited amounts equivalent to the penalties and the amount of legal costs and handling fee of 480.00 EEK - 30.68 EUR.

Payment Terms

VISA, EuroCard/MasterCard, American Express and Diners Club are accepted as form of payment. A credit card is required as guarantee when using other forms of payment. At pickup, a guarantee-deposit is reserved on Your credit card in the amount of at least the estimated charges of rental but no less than 7822,32 EEK - 500.00 EUR. Credit card is not a requirement only in case of contractual customers whose contract stipulates an exemption thereof.

Value Added Tax

All rates are given in Estonian Kroon and include 20% VAT.

During rental period Europcar customers can turn to Europcars customer service and 24h Helpline. All needed contacts and phone numbers are provided to the customer at the Europcar check-out desk.
